Sourbombe Artisanal Bakery launches ice cream-inspired doughnuts in collaboration with Ben & Jerry’s new flavours

Some days, my gluttonous self finds it hard to decide between having a stuffed doughnut or ice cream for dessert. Well, Sourbombe Artisanal Bakery and Ben & Jerry’s have just solved this dilemma with the launch of their new products.

Ben & Jerry’s has come up with two new limited edition indulgent flavours: Dublin Mudslide and Chewy Gooey Cookie.

Dublin Mudslide is flavoured and spiked with Irish cream and mixed with double chocolate chip cookies and aromatic coffee fudge swirls, while Chewy Gooey Cookie combines coconut and milk chocolate ice cream with fudge flakes, buttery shortbread cookies and gooey caramel swirls. Each pint costs S$13.90.

Meanwhile, the owner of Sourbombe Artisanal Bakery, Genevieve Lee, has created three stuffed bomboloni flavours in collaboration with Ben & Jerry’s, named Brûlée Hooray, Gooey Glory and Dublin’ Down, priced at S$5.60 each.

Brûlée Hooray is filled with whipped vanilla bean custard and coated with a crystal candied caramel, while Gooey Glory is stuffed with milk chocolate mousse and drizzled with a coconut caramel glaze, sea salt flakes and shortbread cookies. Finally, Dublin’ Down contains coffee-kahlua mousse and is dipped in dark chocolate glaze and topped with chopped hazelnuts.

Sourbombe Artisanal Bakery’s Brûlée Hooray, Gooey Glory and Dublin’ Down bombolonis will be available for order online from 14 July to 13 August 2022. Meanwhile, Ben & Jerry’s new Chewy Gooey Cookie and Dublin Mudslide flavours can be obtained at leading supermarkets, convenience stores and online stores like foodpanda, Grab and Redmart for a limited period only.

With Ben & Jerry’s being one of my favourite ice cream brands, I am very happy about the launch of their new flavours. Their partnership with Sourbombe Artisanal Bakery is also incredibly exciting, and I’ll definitely be chomping down on these new products on my next movie night.
