Sonija Kwok to make TV comeback?
15 Jan – Sonija Kwok recently sparked rumours of a comeback after sharing a photo of what looked like scripts for an upcoming TV series.
The actress, who has withdrawn from showbiz except to work sparsely on several films, recently posted a photo showing a stack of scripts marked with multi-coloured post-it notes, captioning it "Actively doing homework."
By the sheer amount of the script, many speculated that the actress will soon appear in a TV series, five years after her last TVB drama, "Under the Veil".
It is noted that Sonija has reduced filming work since 2011, after marrying martial arts director Zhu Shaojie and giving birth to daughter Kylie. However, the actress decided to leave TVB in 2015, after experiencing miscarriage the year before while filming the aforementioned series.
For many years thereafter, other than guest starring in several films, she rarely appeared in front of the cameras and focused instead on her life as a mother.
Netizens who saw the post, immediately jumped to the comments section to express their delight, saying that they will be looking forward to Sonija's comeback.
