Thanksgiving is perhaps my favorite holiday. After all the food is cooked and our bellies are full, everyone at my celebration lazes in a turkey-induced haze that sees us through a brief afternoon walk, coffee and dessert, and goodbyes. But around 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving evening, something changes. The air practically crackles with the knowledge that Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals are around the corner.

While we'll be hunting for the best deals on kitchen gadgets galore, there aren’t just deals on physical items. Amid all that shopping, you may need a bite or two to keep your energy up. This Cyber Monday, Nov. 27, Sonic is offering a 50-cent corn dog deal.

The corn dogs feature a hot dog enclosed in a sweet corn batter coating that’s fried until it’s crispy and golden brown. The chain had the same deal last month for Halloween.

Finally, Dunkin’ has you covered with pre- and post-holiday deals. On the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, take advantage of Dunkin’s November donut deal. Every Wednesday in November, you can get a free donut if you order any hot or iced drink, and Thanksgiving Eve is no exception. Mobile app users can also redeem a $1 medium hot coffee reward, perfect for Black Friday or Cyber Monday shopping. Customers can also get a free medium hot or iced chai latte with any purchase.
