Song Ji-eun confirms upcoming wedding with Park We

14 Mar - Following rumours of an upcoming marriage, singer-actress Song Ji-eun found herself having to confirm the news ahead of plans.

On 12 March, the former SECRET member shared a photo of her with fiance and YouTuber Park We, and wrote, "Yesterday evening, after I finished recording the program, I found out that there were a lot of articles about my wedding. I wanted to be the first to let you, the ones who have been supporting us, properly. Personally, it is a shame that you had to learn about it through articles that are partially untrue."

Song stated that she is indeed planning to get married this autumn, but that the exact date hasn't been decided yet, which is why she thought it was too early to make it public.

"But I thought it's best to let you know the part that many of you were wondering about quickly. Yesterday evening, I made a video to upload it to YouTube and wrote this to spread the news. The date is undetermined and it's true that I'm planning a wedding," she said.

Song said that she is grateful and happy to be able to dream a future with someone who is like "the last piece of my unfinished puzzle".

"We will be grateful if you look forward to and support us on our day as we become a couple of married couples one fine day in autumn. If we have good news, we will broadcast it here and through the Miracle Channel. Always energised by your sincere young encouragement. Thank you and I love you," she added.

Song and Park, who is also the son of director Park Chan-hong of "Beautiful World" fame, announced their relationship back in December last year. Park suffers from a spinal damage back in 2014 after falling from a 10-ft building, and has been spreading awareness about people with disabilities through his YouTube channel WERACLE.
