Singer and designer Pharrell Williams is Louis Vuitton's new Creative Director
It's official, folks! Singer and fashion designer Pharrell Williams has been appointed as Louis Vuitton’s new Men’s Creative Director. His first collection for Louis Vuitton will be revealed this June during the Men's Fashion Week in Paris.
Williams is a visionary whose creative universes expand from music to art, and to fashion – establishing himself as a cultural, global icon over the past twenty years.
This appointment comes after the death of visionary designer Virgil Abloh, who passed away in 2021 from cancer.

“I am glad to welcome Pharrell back home, after our collaborations in 2004 and 2008 for Louis Vuitton, as our new Men’s Creative Director. His creative vision beyond fashion will undoubtedly lead Louis Vuitton towards a new and very exciting chapter.” declares Pietro Beccari, Louis Vuitton’s Chairman and CEO.
Williams is no stranger to the fashion world. He co-founded the streetwear label Billionaire Boys Club with Japanese designer Nigo in 2003 and collaborated with other brands such as Adidas, Chanel and Moncler in the past.
