Simone Biles Wore the Dreamiest Halter Dress to Her Bridal Shower
Simone Biles is already the loveliest bride.
The Team USA gymnast is getting married to NFL star Jonathan Owens and this week celebrated their upcoming nuptials with a dreamy bridal shower in Houston.
"On Cloud 9 BRIDAL SHOWER☁️💙🕊️," she captioned a post on Instagram featuring photos from the party.
For the occasion, the seven-time Olympic medalist wore a sleek halter-neck gown with pearl appliqués throughout. She paired the dress with white heeled sandals and accessorized with pearl earrings. As for glam, Biles opted for a shimmery silver shadow, clear gloss, and long lashes. Her hair was styled in silky waves.
The all-white decor of the fete matched her look: white balloons inside a white room with white neon signs, a white cake, and tall champagne glasses topped with white cotton candy on white tables. A bridal dream.
"The best girls, my day 1's 💙 can't wait to get married with y'all by my side!!!" she captioned another post featuring a photo of her surrounded by her bridesmaids, who were dressed in different shades of blue.
Owens proposed to Biles on Valentine's Day 2022.
"THE EASIEST YES," she captioned an Instagram post announcing the happy news. "I can't wait to spend forever & ever with you, you're everything I dreamed of and more! let's get married FIANCÉ 💍🥺🥲🤎 @jowens_3."
The two made their relationship Instagram official in August 2020, with a simple selfie captioned, "It's just us 🤎." Since then, they've publicly showed off their romance on social media, with sweet vacation photos, holiday tributes, and matching moments.
