Shu Qi says Stephen Fung is progressing as a filmmaker
17 Aug - Taiwanese actress Shu Qi admitted that husband Stephen Fung is progressing as a filmmaker, after working with him in his movie, "The Adventurers".
In an interview with Tencent recently, Shu said that there is a big change from when she last worked with Stephen - particularly the movies "Tai Chi Hero" and "Tai Chi Zero" back in 2012.
"In fact, he is continuously progressing from the past to the present. Life is like that, of course. Every time I see him, he will have something more to show," she said.
Shu stated that the difference with "The Adventurers" is that Stephen has more financial assistance that enabled him to collaborate with more people and go to different countries to do more interesting things that he couldn't do in past projects.
"I also learned a lot of things from this movie, including cinematography and lighting," she said.
In "The Adventurers", Shu Qi plays new recruit, Red, who helps infamous thief Cheng Tan (Andy Lau) and his longtime partner Chen Xiaobo (Tony Yang) steal precious jewels in Europe while being hunted by French detective Pierre (Jean Reno).
