Sheryl Lee Ralph Dazzles in Bright Red Harbison at the 2023 Super Bowl
Ralph sang "Lift Every Voice and Sing."
While Sheryl Lee Ralph might currently be known for her role in "Abbott Elementary," she's also a seasoned vocalist. She reminded audiences of that on Sunday on one of the world's biggest stages: the Super Bowl.
The actor sang "Lift Every Voice and Sing" before the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles kicked off the game, with the support of ASL translator Justina Miles. She stood out against the green football field in a custom red jumpsuit by Harbison Studio, styled by her daughter, Ivy Coco Maurice.
Charles Harbison is known for his architectural silhouettes and bold use of color. Ralph's look embodied these design signatures, with its off-the-shoulder puff sleeves, dramatic train and contrasting gold buttons across the front.
Ralph finished off the look with a pair of equally bright red gloves and peep-toe platform pumps. She wore her hair down and parted down the middle, but still showcasing her gold earrings from Nikos Koulis.
Well, this is certainly shaping up to be a fashionable Super Bowl.
