Sasaki Kuranosuke announces marriage
2 Nov – Japanese actor Sasaki Kuranosuke has recently tied the knot.
As reported on Epoch Times, the news was announced by the "Kirin Ga Kuru" actor via his agency, k-factory, with a letter that revealed that he has married his non-celebrity girlfriend.
"I'm 53 years old now, already at a good age. I've spent so long being single, and I don't want big changes in my future life. Although we will be living our lives together as husband and wife, she is also at a settled age, so we only hope to quietly spend our days and slowly grow older," he said.
Sasaki added that he will now "listen to the advice" of his seniors and live a full life.
"Regarding work, I will sincerely do my best on every job I receive, to always cherish everybody's support and to work harder as an actor. Finally, I sincerely pray for everyone's health and happiness," he expressed.
