This is how to do the Run Boy Run TikTok challenge
Everyone loves a good TikTok trend, whether it's a dance routine, an outfit put-together, beauty hacks, cleaning hacks, or even spider removal hacks. Doing the rounds right now is the Run Boy Run challenge, a wholesome trend that features pictures that keep swapping in less than a second.
Beginning with the phrase "If I was a" followed by single-word like colour, weather, season, flower, element, the premise is that you're asking your partner these questions, and they have to answer using the images they think suit your personality, aesthetic, etc. Once you've collected all of the pics, you arrange them into a single video and then add the music behind it. However, for those who want to join in on the trend but don't actually know how to put the video together, this one TikTok user named Ana (@anarvra) has created a Run Boy Run challenge tutorial that takes you through everything step by step...

You need to download the video by @richbythecringe onto your device for the sound.
Open the video in the Capcut app, take out the audio by clicking extract audio, and then remove the video.
Add a video of yourself that lasts 3 seconds at the beginning and add the "If I was a" text on top for the same duration.
Whatever the categories that were made for your individual video, you'll need to gather 24 pictures for each.
When adding them, make sure each image apart from the 15th photo of each category is shown for 0.1-second intervals. Number 15 should be 0.4 seconds.
Add a .9-second block colour image to the end of each category.
Once you've added the 24 pictures, add a text overlay to name each category and fit it to fit the length of the photos. You can use whatever font you like!
Lastly, export the video and share it to your TikTok account. When you upload, make sure you add the Run Boy Run song but mute it and add the necessary hashtags.
Voilà! You've completed the TikTok trend. Now to wait for the next challenge...
