Rotiboy reopens cafe in Wangsa Walk, complete with breakfast, lunch & dinner menu

Everyone knows Rotiboy — the crispy, Mexican-inspired bun with warm, buttery insides that’s a staple among Malaysians of all ages. But have you heard of Rotiboy Cafe? If you have, kudos! You’re in the know, unlike many of my acquaintances. Originally launched in Central i-City, this spot with a cafe concept has now reopened in Wangsa Walk.

Rotiboy Cafe - Storefront

Rotiboy made headlines when it closed its beloved KLCC outlet after 21 iconic years. While that chapter ended, the brand remains a powerhouse with over 100 outlets across Malaysia and another 100 worldwide, proving its irresistible charm is here to stay.

Their menu in every outlet is charmingly simple. Starting from just RM4, you can enjoy freshly baked goodness in flavours like the classic Rotiboy, Buttermilk, and Mochaboy. But here’s where the cafe concept shines: beyond their famous buns, you’ll find breakfast, lunch, and even dinner on the menu!

Rotiboy Cafe serves a mix of local delicacies and Western favourites, along with an extensive beverage menu. Dig into a plate of Buttermilk Chicken Rice, Curry Chicken Rice, Sambal Prawn Rice, or Rempah Chicken Rice — all priced at RM17.80.

Craving pasta? This spot has you covered with their pasta menu, featuring Fettuccine Chicken Sambalnara, Spaghetti Prawn Marinara, and Spaghetti Prawn Aglio Olio. Each dish is priced at RM18.80!

Rotiboy Cafe - Spanish latte

Wash it all down with a drink of your choice, whether you prefer a smooth Matcha Latte (RM12.90), a bold Spanish Latte (RM8.80), or a classic tea (from RM7.30) like Earl Grey or English Tea. You can also get fizzy drinks here to refresh your throat, if that’s more your style.

It seems like this ever-growing chain is never backing out from trying new ideas! Psst, the founder himself has expressed his interest in adding the viral Rotiboy Ice Cream to their menu. So stay tuned for that — and drop by Rotiboy Cafe in the meantime!
