Rokt Appoints New President and Chief Operating Officer
E-commerce tech company Rokt has announced the appointment of Terry Bowen as its new president and chief operating officer.
Bowen’s transition into his role at Rokt will take place over the next few months as he concludes previous commitments. Based in Rokt’s New York office, Bowen will report directly to Rokt’s chief executive officer, Bruce Buchanan, with whom he has a previous professional relationship.

“Terry is one of the strongest leaders I have worked with and has a proven track record across a wide range of industries,” Buchanan said. “We previously worked together at Jetstar Airways, where, as chief financial officer, Terry played a key role in building the foundations that enabled the business to rapidly scale. He brings expertise, tenacity, curiosity, humility and leadership experience that will help us accelerate our global growth and achieve our business objectives. This new role also positions Rokt incredibly well to transition into a successful public company.”
Bowen enters the role with more than 25 years of financial, strategic and operational experience across several Australian-based consumer-focused companies. Most recently, Bowen served as partner and chair of the operations group of leading Australian private equity firm BGH Capital. Bowen’s previous roles also include finance director and executive director of Wesfarmers Ltd., finance director of Coles, managing director of Wesfarmers Industrial and safety division CFO of Jetstar Airways.
Bowen serves as director of Navitas and as an independent, non-executive director of BHP Group Ltd., Coles Group Ltd., Transurban Ltd. and the West Coast Eagles Football Club.
