Richard Yap admits his restaurants are affected by the pandemic
26 Aug – Richard Yap recently admitted that his restaurant has been as deeply affected by the pandemic just like other F&B businesses in the Philippines.
As reported on ABS-CBN, the actor who has co-founded several food businesses, such as a gastropub and the Singaporean-Chinese restaurant, Wangfu, stated that the current situation has made it difficult for everybody, especially the workers who are in danger of unemployment.
It was made more challenging by the shutdown of ABS-CBN, as it meant that Yap has also lost a lot of filming projects that could help him finance the business.
"But I am doing my best to help my employees in whatever way I can," he assured.
Despite the difficulties, Yap still sees the positives, including the time he now has for his family.
"We are all okay. We are just here in the house. It has given us a lot of time to be together. It's also a nice break from our hectic schedules. And at least we have time with our family now. Of course, it's very nice that we are always together," he added.
