‘Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé’: What to Know About Tickets, Premiere Dates and More

Beyoncé is bringing her record-breaking “Renaissance World Tour” to the big screen. “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé” will hit AMC theaters worldwide on Dec. 1, providing an in-depth look at the songstress’s creative process behind her latest concert tour.

Since concluding in October, the world tour has sold a massive 2.7 million tickets and was marked as the highest-grossing tour by a female artist in history. During her “Renaissance” concerts, Beyoncé not only provided high-energy performances but also embraced a slew of eye-catching fashion looks by Loewe, David Koma, Balmain, Brandon Blackwood, Telfar and other designers.

When is the premiere?

On Thursday, Beyoncé announced two premieres for “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé.” As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the Los Angeles premiere of the “Renaissance” film is on Nov. 25, while the world premiere of the film will be held on Nov. 30.

What is the film about?

The concert film is all about Beyoncé’s “Renaissance World Tour,” peeling back the curtain on its production and Beyoncé’s ideation process in creating the stunning spectacle.

Was a trailer released?

Beyoncé took to her official Instagram earlier in October to share a trailer for the upcoming film, with part of her caption reading, “Be careful what you ask for, ‘cause I just might comply.”

The trailer features clips of screaming fans dressed in their silver-themed garb at the world tour, a video of Beyoncé stretching with her oldest daughter Blue Ivy and multiple clips of Beyoncé traveling.

“When I am performing, I am nothing but free. The goal of this tour was to create a place where everyone is free,” Beyoncé says in a voiceover in the trailer, which has already garnered more than 3 million likes.

How to watch the film

Tickets for “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé” are available at amctheatres.com with ticket prices averaging $28. Although the film will be officially released in theaters on Dec. 1, advance screening tickets for Nov. 30 are available for purchase on the site.
