Raymond Lam leaves EEG, signs with former manager

29 Jan – Hong Kong singer-actor Raymond Lam recently admitted that he has left Emperor Entertainment Group after nearly five years of cooperation.

As reported on HK01, the actor, who appeared at the press conference of his new web drama, "Police Tactical Unit" recently, shared that he is now signed with Louis Koo's manager Ronnie, of whom he has been friends with for nearly 20 years.

"I have to clarify that I did not sign with Louis, but with his manager. Ronnie managed my career when I first joined TVB, and we got along very well. We've stayed in touch all these years," he said.

Ronnie also managed the career of actress Jessica Hsuan.

As to whether he will establish his own studio like fellow actors Wong Cho Lam and Bosco Wong, Raymond stated that he has no such plans for the time being.

On the other hand, when asked about his new project, Raymond stated that he is happy to be filming in Hong Kong again and being able to speak Cantonese on the set.

The drama co-stars Charlene Choi, Alex Fong, and Louis Cheung.
