The Princess of Wales has made her first appearance at Wimbledon 2023 on day two of the famous tennis tournament.

Kate, who is known to be a tennis fan and is the royal patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (AELTC), arrived at the SW19 venue on Tuesday (4 July) morning wearing a striking Balmain blazer and skirt ensemble.

She chose a mint green blazer with white lapels and buttons, which she paired with a pleated white midi skirt and matching stilettos. The Balmain design is no longer available online, but there are similar pale green jacket styles on the high street this summer.

The princess completed her summery look with drop pearl earrings and the Amberley box bag by Mulberry in white.

Before taking her seat in the royal box, Kate was seen enjoying a match alongside former tennis players Deborah Jevans and Laura Robson.

Later on in the afternoon, the royal will attend a special ceremony to celebrate Roger Federer's achievement of winning a record eight Wimbledon titles before the action on Centre Court begins. In the lead up to this year's tournament, the princess joined Federer to film a behind-the-scenes clip celebrating the Ball Boys and Girls (BBGs) who help the event run smoothly. In the four-minute video, Kate and the tennis pro observe the regimented training sessions where the BBGs learn techniques ahead of the games.

The princess is a regular at the tennis championships and if previous years are anything to go by, she is likely to make a few more appearances throughout the two-week event. There's sure to be plenty more style inspiration as Kate and other celebrity guests take their seats at Centre Court this year.
