PM Anwar Ibrahim visited Rohana Jalil in hospital

25 Apr – The Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim recently took some time prior to Eid to visit singer Rohana Jalil, who is now in ICU after suffering from intestinal perforation.

In an Instagram post where he revealed that he also visited his former schoolmate, the Prime Minister expressed, "Last Friday I had the opportunity to visit Chancellor Tuanku Muhriz Hospital (HCTM) Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) to visit my brother Adzis Ismail, as well as the artiste Rohana Jalil."

"Rohana is being treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), due to an intestinal leak and her health level is still being monitored by the medical team. Meanwhile brother Adzis, who was my friend while at MCKK, is undergoing dialysis due to health problems. I pray for both of them to be blessed with aafiyah, God willing."

Previously, Rohana's daughter and actress Kilafairy stated that her mother was in critical condition, but was doing much better since then.

She also stated that the singer, who is known for songs like "Rayuanku" and "Riang Ria Aidil Fitri", was also able to breathe on her own without the need of external help.
