Ogie Alcasid's daughter to join showbiz

The singer says that eldest daughter Leila is interested to do modelling in the Philippines

21 Dec - Singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid recently admitted that his eldest daughter is set to make her mark in Filipino showbiz.

As reported on ABS-CBN News, the singer, who spoke to the media at the press conference of "Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids", shared that he was surprised upon finding out about his eldest daughter's decision, but will give her his support all the same.

"It seems she wants to do some commercial modelling. She's interested in that. She has already started her blog and is studying Tagalog," he said.

He added, "Her mother is very supportive of her move."

Alcasid's said daughter is 19-year-old Leila, his daughter with ex-wife, Michelle Van Eimeren. The younger Alcasid has been living in Australia prior to her recent move to the Philippines.

On the other hand, when asked about his Christmas wish, Alcasid stated that his only wish is for his children to always be okay.
