"OCTB 2" to begin filming soon?

25 Jan – After the success of the original series in 2017, director Jones Chong recently revealed that there will be season two of "OCTB".

As reported on HK01, the director recently shared that the studio has finished working on the screenplay of the upcoming sequel, and will soon begin the production phase.

However, he made no mention as to when the drama is scheduled for release.

It is also reported that while the original series has 30 episodes, the second season may be extended into 60 episodes, with some of them to be filmed in London.

He is also confident that the original cast members, Jordan Chan, Danny Chan, and Sam Lee will be able to reprise their role in the second season, though he did not say whether the cast have already confirmed participation.

The original online series, which revolves around organised crime and the duty of the Organised Crime and Triad Bureau (OCTB), was previously streamed on Chinese platform Youku in late 2017, followed by Netflix in February last year.
