Nicholas Tse denies breaking up with Faye Wong

14 Jul – Nicholas Tse has slammed rumours that he and long-time girlfriend Faye Wong have called it quits on their relationship.

As reported on Oriental Daily, on 12 July, several tabloids alleged that the couple have secretly broken up after nine years of romance. It claimed that the two have decided to part ways separately after realising that they are not suitable for each other.

While Nic and Faye would usually keep mum regarding their relationship, the actor seemed unamused by the latest rumour and decided to refute it himself, telling the media, "Stop making trouble with the two of us, okay? Go away!"

It is noted that the couple had dated in the late '90s but broke up in 2002. Nic, who is 11 years younger than the songstress, went on to marry Cecilia Cheung four years later and welcomed two children together, while Faye tied the knot with actor-businessman Li Yapeng.

However, following Nic's divorce in 2011 and Faye later in 2013, the two began dating again in 2014.
