Raymond Wong returns to TVB after nine months

23 Jun - "I am looking forward to filming!" said TVB actor Raymond Wong recently, at the costume fitting session of new drama, "Police Dog Brothers" (tentative title).

In the upcoming series, the actor will play a policeman who also turns out to be the heir of a fast food chain, On CC reported.

"It feels fresh and exciting, but I am also kind of nervous," he enthused. "I haven't been at it for so long!"

It had been nine months since he last filmed a series. The actor, who was originally scheduled to play the lead in TVB's upcoming epic series "Captain of Destiny" last year, had to withdraw from the project after being diagnosed with Behcet's Disease.

He had since taken an extended leave to recuperate at home, and had been playing househusband instead.

Playing Raymond's love interest in the series is Tracy Chu, who will play a struggling saleswoman who hopes that her boyfriend will quit police work and run his family business instead.

"Police Dog Brothers" also stars Bosco Wong, Linda Chung, and Oscar Leung.
