Natalie Tong finally gets to play a tough role

31 Jan – Natalie Tong's dream of playing a tough female character finally came true through her upcoming new series, "Chinatown".

As reported on On CC, the actress, who was spotted at the training studio, revealed that she is currently rehearsing her moves as she will be playing a martial artist specialising in Baguazhang.

"The master has been very kind with me, but still it has been really challenging. I have never done kung fu before, unlike my cast members. This is my first time," she said.

Nevertheless, Natalie admitted that she enjoyed every second of her time.

She also learned a lot about her own strength and weaknesses, saying, "My legs are actually very weak, so I have to be more careful about my balance."

The upcoming drama, produced by Jazz Boon of "A Fist Within Four Walls" fame, co-stars Ruco Chan, Philip Ng, and Grace Wong.
