Nancy Sit returns to TVB with "Brilliant Mother-in-Law"
4 May - Two years after "My Spiritual Ex-Lover", veteran actress Nancy Sit returns to TVB for her new drama, "Brilliant Mother-in-Law" (working title).
As reported on Mingpao News, the actress, who appeared at the press conference of the said drama, shared that she decided to accept the offer after the producer told her that the script was tailor-made for her.
Nancy added, "The citizens of Hong Kong have been facing a lot of pressures lately. We need to have a happy drama to entertain them. I hope my role in this drama can bring them joy."
In the upcoming drama, Nancy plays a tofu businesswoman and a strict mother-in-law to her son-in-law, to be played by Lai Lok Yi. Roxanne Tong will play her daughter.
When asked if she is not worried about the generation gap between her and her junior colleagues, Nancy said that she will do her best to work alongside them.
