Naim Daniel will reintroduce himself as part of a band
18 Jan – Always one to try something new, Naim Daniel recently revealed that he will soon be appearing as part of a band.
The singer-songwriter recently shared that he has been involved in a band project for the past year, and that it will finally make its debut this year.
"Four other musicians and I have been working on it and we will be making our debut with me as the vocalist, while the others will be playing the instruments," he said.
Naim revealed that he was introduced to his band members via social media, and had consulted several figures before making that decision.
"I referred to Noh [Salleh of Hujan band] about working on this band, and my recent involvement in Hujan concert was an early step for me. Nazrin from SOG also gave me support because he said that I looked more 'alive' when I'm working with a band," he said.
Naim stated that as of now, they have yet to decide on the name, but stressed that it will have a different sound compared to his music as a solo artiste.
"I will be introducing them in the upcoming Patah Hati Concert that will be held at Zepp KL this coming 15 March," he said.
