Naim Daniel: Please do not perform upside down!
27 Feb – Naim Daniel recently expressed hope that people will not repeat the stunt work he did while performing his song at the Anugerah Juara Lagu (AJL) earlier this month.
The singer, who performed his song "Mainan" on stage while hanging upside down to emulate what he did in his music video, stated that he recently saw a TikTok video of someone singing karaoke in similar fashion.
"Please do not do that. It worries me to see it. I do not encourage such an act to be copied without the supervision of a professional. I did it in the capacity of a professional performance, and even sought the advice of a doctor before doing so," he said.
Naim revealed that prior to his said viral performance, his breathing levels were monitored and that paramedics were also assigned to be on guard to ensure his safety.
The singer also added that he would not repost any clips of people imitating the performance as not to influence others to do the same, especially since he also has children following him on social media.
