Myolie Wu has no plans to be a full-time mother
21 Nov – Hong Kong actress Myolie Wu recently made her first public appearance, a month after giving birth to first child, Brendan.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who appeared at a brand event alongside her "Nothing Gold Can Stay" co-star Betty Sun Li, shared that she still hasn't fully recovered her pre-baby body as it is harder to do so with a baby around.
"I need to shed a few more pounds to get back in shape I had before. My husband has no qualms letting me make my comeback. He knows that I am afraid of getting bored staying home nursing my baby every day," she said.
Nonetheless, she attributed her fast weight loss to the lack of sleep she had since giving birth to her son.
Career-wise, Myolie said that she plans to breastfeed her son for at least six months, thus she will not be taking any project that has long hours.
At the same time, the actress stressed that she will continue to work, as she has no plan to be a full-time mother.
