This Morning has confirmed that Rylan Clark-Neal is going to continue hosting the show next week, but he's got a new co-host.

The ITV show has confirmed that Rylan, who recently hosted alongside show regular Alison Hammond, will present all next week with none other than Emma Willis.

The duo previously hosted the show together several years ago but haven't been on together in recent This Morning times. Recently, they're more famously known for working together on Big Brother and its spin-off Bit on the Side during its Channel 5 era.

There has been a lot of speculation over who the new core presenters of the show will be following the departures of Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby earlier this year.

Currently, presenters including Alison, Rylan, Josie Gibson, Rochelle Humes, Dermot O'Leary and Cat Deeley (to name a few) have been presenting on a rotating basis.

Meanwhile, on a recent episode of Good Morning Britain, it was suggested that Kate Garraway, who successfully took over ITV's Life Stories series, would be a good choice.

Her co-host Susanna Reid joked on screen: "We don't want Kate Garraway to leave... Please don’t go anywhere, Kate. This Morning: hands off our Kate."

Josie is, of course, also away at the moment, as she's currently competing in the latest series of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! — much to the upset of friend and much-loved presenter Alison Hammond.

"It's actually made me emotional because I speak to Josie nearly every single day and like I can't speak to her, it's horrible!" Alison recently said of her absence.

This Morning airs weekday mornings on ITV from 10am and streams on ITVX, with Rylan and Emma presenting all week from Monday, December 4.
