Meghan Markle's Hairstylist Shares the Secrets to Her Hair in Canada
Meghan Markle cozy winter fashion on her and Prince Harry's trip to Canada last week was a hit—from her matching Aritiza beanie and scarf to her cream Calvin Klein puffer coat. And, despite the freezing cold temperatures every day, the Duchess of Sussex's hair and makeup was on point.
Meghan's hair colorist, Kadi Lee of Highbrow Hippie (a salon in Venice, California), shared on her Instagram the details behind Meghan's Canada hair, which she calls "chocolate chestnut brunette."
Lee writes, "This mixture of red and golden undertones makes a dynamic shade of brunette that not only gives skin the healthiest glow, especially during the colder months of winter, it also provides the hair with a next level high power shine." She also noted Meghan's "bounciest, long lasting blowout" was done by her colleague Hector.
The comments on Highbrow Hippie's Instagram post were full of praise for Lee. "When I saw this color, I immediately thought of you. This is the best her hair has ever looked!!" one commenter wrote. Another commented "Absolutely stunning. So shiny and healthy. GOALS."
Lee has been working with the Duchess of Sussex for some time; after Meghan attended the Ms. Foundation Gala in New York City in May, Lee shared the behind-the-scenes of Meghan's "warm and rich brunette" color.
