Married Women, Don't Hold Back: What Do You Look Forward To Most When You Get Some Precious Alone Time?
No matter how social or extroverted you are, everyone craves some degree of alone time. There are just some things that are best enjoyed in solitude. This is true even when you're happily married and living with the love of your life. Alone time is essential for relaxation, recharging, and doing the things you don't want company for.
Perhaps you love your alone time because it allows you to read. When your partner and/or kids are home, there's always someone calling you to do this, that, or the other, and that keeps you from reading. Even if you can sit and relax, you have difficulty focusing if you can hear someone's TV, music, or chitchat in the background. Your alone time is perfect for cracking open a good book.
Maybe you use your home alone time to masturbate with toys. You worry about hurting your husband's feelings, and he doesn't always feel super enthusiastic about introducing toys into your sexual routine together, so you use your time alone to experiment with toys and enjoy a solo expedition.
Or, perhaps your alone time is your treasured karaoke time. You love to sing but are embarrassed about belting it out when others are home. When you're left alone, you crank some music and sing your face off. You'll sing while you clean, while you cook, or just for the heck of it. It's super therapeutic for you.
