Maker's Mark joins hands with 16 bars in Singapore to reimagine the classic whisky

Cocktails are one of the easiest ways to ease oneself into drinking whisky, or any other spirits, for that matter. Maker's Mark is set to bring cocktail enthusiasts on a riveting palate adventure with immersive experiences. From now until the end of September, the iconic whisky brand brings a reimagined whisky experience to Singapore by collaborating with 16 of the city's notable bars culminating in a pop-up experience at White Shades.
The bartenders from each of the 16 bars will put their creative spin on some of the most iconic classic serves to become a Maker’s Classic – including the Whisky Sour, the Manhattan, and the Old Fashioned. More than 30 Marked by Maker’s cocktails will be made available to invigorate your senses at Offtrack, 28 Hong Kong Street, Sago House, Smoke & Mirrors, White Shades, Employees Only, Set of Six, Stay Gold Flamingo, Neon Pigeon, Brooklyn Bar SG, LUMO Bar and Restaurant, Salud, Grids Coffee Bar, Cook & Brew, Goodfellas 41NC and Dempsey Cookhouse. What to expect:
Sample the smooth, full-flavoured Maker's Mark and the classic Maker's Mark cocktail – liquid gold in a glass – aptly named ‘Gold Rush’. At the same time, homegrown DJ AKA Sounds will enthral you with Hip-hop, Jungle, and House tracks.
Watch a live demonstration of The Imperial Smithster, a silversmith reviving the ancient art of lost wax casting. Then, proceed to the interactive booth by Plastify where you can try transforming plastic scraps into beautifully created coasters. At the heart of the craft experience lies the mesmerising Maker's Mark wax dipping station, where guests can get their whisky glasses meticulously hand-dipped in signature red wax. Round off the night at White Shades Cocktail Bar and sip on reimagined whisky classics marked with a renewed twist by Co-Founder Bai Jia Wei.

Ingredients:
2 parts Maker’s Mark Bourbon
3/4 part honey syrup*
3/4 part fresh squeezed lemon juice
Lemon wedge for garnish
*For The Honey Syrup
2 parts honey
1 part hot water
Step 1
Mix the ingredients
Add Maker’s Mark Bourbon, lemon juice and honey syrup to an ice-filled shaker.
Step 2
Shake it up
Give it a good shake.
Step 3
Grab a glass
Strain over ice into rocks glass.
Step 4
Garnish
Garnish with lemon wedge.
