Louis Koo happy to surpass record of his previous film

30 May - Louis Koo is elated that his new movie, "Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In" is now the second highest grossing domestic film in Hong Kong, surpassing his own previous sci-fi, "Warriors of Future".

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who is celebrating the film breaking HKD 82.5 million at the box office, expressed online, "Thank you to everybody who showed up to support me. As an actor, we only have one plan, which is to complete our mission and keep going."

"I will continue to make good movies and I hope Hong Kong movies will continue to shine and spread around the world," he added.

The film has been topping the box office chart for 27 consecutive days since it was release in Hong Kong, and is currently showing in Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Taiwan, the UK, the US, Australia and France.

The film is also expected to surpass the record held by Jack Ng's "A Guilty Conscience", which made HKD 115 million at the box office last year.

Back in 2022, "Warriors of Future" topped the highest grossing domestic film list with HKD 81.8 million before it was dethroned by the aforementioned legal drama, which starred Dayo Wong in the lead.
