Lisa Chng denies engagement to Mat Yeung

26 Nov – TVB model-actress Lisa Chng has laughed off rumours that she is now engaged to boyfriend Mat Yeung.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress earlier sparked rumours of engagement when she shared a photo of herself holding a glass of wine, with a diamond ring clearly visible on her middle finger.

She posted, "A woman's best dowry is a warm and caring heart. Have you found that heart?"

Fans who saw the post immediately speculated that she was announcing her engagement, and soon began flooding the comments section with congratulatory wishes.

When asked about it at the TVB Anniversary Gala recently, Lisa clarified that the ring was given by her mother and that she wore it all the time.

"I saw everybody congratulating me and I was so confused by it," she said.

Lisa also stated that she and Mat have no plans to get married anytime soon, and will focus on their career for the time being.
