Flor de Caña Rum is a 130-year-old family-run business that has remained in the family for five generations. The Flor de Caña distillery sits on the edge of San Cristóbal Volcano, Nicaragua’s tallest and most active volcano, contributing to the nutrient-rich water used to produce their rum. The result of a more dynamic interaction between the barrel and rum allows the spirit to come out especially smooth.

The rum is distilled with 100% renewable energy and naturally aged in bourbon barrels without sugar or artificial ingredients, making it a worthy entry into your alcohol cabinet.

New York's Van Leeuwen is bringing its ice cream craze to Singapore with its first overseas scoop shop opening in early August 2023 at Orchard Central.

The cult-favourite ice cream brand from Brooklyn, New York started out from a humble yellow ice cream truck on the streets of New York City in 2008. Today, it is a national phenomenon with over 50 scoop stores in America, known for serving honest-to-goodness French ice cream made with double the amount of egg yolks and vegan ice cream made the traditional way – with real natural whole ingredients sourced from the finest small producers in the world, without any artificial stabilisers, thickeners or emulsifiers, to enhance the ice creams texture and mouthfeel.

The first 100 customers in line will stand to receive a custom-designed Van Leeuwen Tote Bag. Customers beyond the 100 mark will get to receive a lucky token that gives them the chance to score limited-edition merchandise (or more scoops!) via a Gashapon machine.

Following the sell-out of their August 2nd show, iconic American rock band, The Strokes are turning up the heat in Singapore with the addition of another night on 3rd August at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre.

“In an attempt to make sure all of our fans, particularly our fans in Kuala Lumpur affected by last week’s cancellation, are able to have a chance to see us, we are incredibly excited to announce a second show in Singapore on Thursday. We know this isn’t perfect for our fans in Malaysia, but it was the closest possible location to put on a show in such a short time. We look forward to seeing as many of you who can make it to the show!”

The band has also revealed that multidisciplinary artiste, Promiseland, will be the supporting act for both nights.

Tickets (free-standing) are priced from S$148 and will be available to the public from 28 July (Fri), 4pm via www.marinabaysands.com. A “VIP Experience” package is also available for purchase, with exclusive perks not to be missed!
