Lee Heung Kam is oblivious to Tam Ping Man's passing
24 Sep – Siu Ji Wan, the daughter of veteran actress Lee Heung Kam, recently admitted that her mother's memory issues has saved her from the sadness of losing her good friend Tam Ping Man, who passed away earlier this month after months of battling lung cancer.
As reported on Mingpao, Siu, who appeared at the memorial service for the King of Voice-overs held at the Universal Funeral Parlour recently, shared that she had already told Lee of her old onscreen partner's death, but received not much response from the latter.
"Because of her memory problem, there was some minor confusion. There was no emotion. But this is better. She has no idea that her old partner is not here anymore, but he will always remain in her heart," she said.
When asked about Lee's physical health, Siu stated that the veteran actress is in good health and is "as happy as a child".
"She just has a poor memory, that's all. Thank you for your concern," she added.
