Leanne Li has no plans to make a comeback anytime soon
8 Aug – Although it has been eight months since she gave birth to daughter Gabrielle, Leanne Li recently admitted that she has no plans to make her acting comeback yet.
As reported on On CC, the actress, who sat down for an interview and spoke about her life as a mother, stated that she has decided to remain on hiatus until her daughter is big enough to take care of herself
"I am not an anxious mother. I won't call to check up on her every five minutes if I had to leave the house. But at the same time, I wouldn't be away more than a week or I would miss her," she said.
Leanne also stated that she has no plans to become a "tiger mother", a term used to define parents who force their children to excel academically, saying that she would rather Gabrielle have good childhood memories.
"I think it is more important for children to know how to treat others with love, how to cherish people and be grateful," she said.
As to whether she has plans to get pregnant again, Leanne said that she wants to rest for a year before trying again and would like to use this time to focus on her daughter.
