The spacious new Kopitiam also offers plenty of tables and seats for dine-in meals. When I visited on the opening day itself, the space was packed with loads of diners eager to try out the new stalls.

The stall within Kopitiam @ Northpoint City that I was the most intrigued by was Ai Shang— if you can’t read Chinese characters, simply look out for the stall with a signboard reading “Gyoza • Xiao Long Bao“. Ai Shang serves both traditional Oriental delights and unique fusion dishes, such as the delicious Laksa Dumplings Soup (S$7.20 for 6 pieces), featuring juicy dumplings served in a fragrant laksa broth.

You can also find Xiao Long Bao at only S$7.20 for 6 pieces— what a steal!

The Laksa Gyoza (S$5.80) at Ai Shang is a must-try, as it is juicy and aromatic, with an addictive crispy thin layer on top.

If you’re craving something a little soupier and heartier, head on over to Soup Lodge right next door for some fantastic herbal soups. The White Pepper Fish Maw Pig Stomach Chicken Soup (S$8.80) is a signature soup not to be missed, with its impressive robust flavours and generous amount of ingredients.
