Kenneth Ma: Roxanne Tong and I never intended to be secretive
16 Jun – Kenneth Ma was all smiles as he accepted all the congratulatory remarks from the media following announcement that he and Roxanne Tong are now dating.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor who was in TVB City to start filming on his series, stated that his romance with the said actress is still very recent and that they are still getting to know each other.
When asked why they used a photo of two stuffed animals - a pony and a unicorn - to announce their relationship, Kenneth replied, "She loves unicorn. As for the pony, everybody already knows."
Kenneth stated that he and Roxanne have never actually tried to keep their relationship a secret, but that nobody ever suspected anything even though they often have meals together.
Asked if the two of them have met each other's parents, the actor admitted, "I have seen her parents and she has already gone to my house and had a meal with mine. My mother likes her."
As to whether he has thought of the next step in their relationship, Kenneth admitted that he is the kind of man who would always think of the future and not use dating as a way to kill time.
"No one knows what the future holds, but for the time being, we feel like we could develop more," he added.
The actor appreciated that Roxanne is a simple person who laughs easily, as he is also the same.
When asked if she is the one, he laughed and said, "In short, we are developing our relationship."
When mentioned that his ex-girlfriend Jacqueline Wong has given him her blessings, he responded, "Thank you very much. I hope that she will find her happiness too."
