Ken Zhu says now is not the time to have a baby
19 Aug – Although he and his wife Han Wenwen have been married for four years, Taiwanese singer-actor Ken Zhu recently admitted that he is not ready to have a child yet.
As reported on Epoch Times, the actor who made a rare appearance at a tea ceremony, shared that now is not a suitable time for them to have children - not only due to the pandemic, but also because of his struggle with fibromyalgia.
Said Ken, he is worried about passing his condition to his child and instead asked his wife to freeze her eggs for the time being as he tries to understand his own health issues better.
"We will look at the situation in a few years, and will not rule out adopting children. We'll just focus on our life as husband and wife for now," he said.
Asked if he would be okay with adoption, Ken said that he is considering it, though his wife had once raise doubts whether he could treat other people's children as their own.
"But I think I have a big heart and love for everybody," he said.
On the other hand, the actor also revealed that it was just recently that he and Han were reunited with each other, after months of being separated due to the pandemic. The couple will also be filming a new online program called, "Xiao Tian Food Trip".
