Katy Kung's wedding dress video creates social media stir
10 Jan - Katy Kung nearly gave her fans the shock of their lives when she suddenly posted a clip of her wearing a wedding dress with a mystery man by her side.
On 8 January, the actress posted the video on Instagram, writing, "Thank you for coming into my world WMXGHZYSQN. A little story of ours. Hope it will surprise you."
She also added the date 8 January and the time of 9.00PM.
As people began to speculate, it was revealed that Katy did not actually get married, but that it was a part of a music video for Aska Cheung's cover of Firdhaus' "WMXGHZYSQN", which is short for "Wǒ mei xiǎngguò huì zhèyàng shīqù nǐ" (I Never Thought I'd Lose You Like This).
Fans and friends alike took to the comments on Katy's post, with Priscilla Wong writing, "I almost misunderstood."
Sharon Chan also posted a lighthearted message, saying, "There's no reason why my daughter didn't inform her mother when she got married."
