Zahnita Wilson rebuts husband's counter-accusations of domestic violence
9 Jan - Zahnita Wilson has denied allegations that she was abusive towards her estranged husband, Abdul Zackery Ghouse Abdul Gafor.
The former model responded to claims made by her 47-year-old husband that she was abusive throughout their marriage, stating that the accusations were false and merely his way of defending himself. "I am denying everything that was accused of me. I have never even hit him," she said.
When asked about allegations that she used her Muay Thai skills to beat him up, the "Gila Gila Pengantin Remaja" actress explained that while she had been learning the martial art since 2016, it was solely for self-defense purposes.
"This accusation is not surprising to me," she continued. "He has warned me in the past that he will make a public statement if I didn't abide by his terms. He demanded that I retract all my police reports against him."
The controversy began in December when Zahnita shocked the public by accusing Abdul Zackery of domestic violence, sharing a post on Instagram that showed her with a bruised eye.
