Karena Lam has never worn a wedding dress before "The White Storm 2"
8 Jul – Hong Kong actress Karena Lam recently revealed that her new movie, "The White Storm 2: Drug Lords", marks the first time she has ever worn a bridal gown.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who plays a lawyer and wife to Andy Lau's character in the movie, stated that the movie marked a couple of firsts for her: the first time she collaborated with Andy and the first time she put on a wedding gown, as she didn't do so at her own wedding.
"On the day of the shoot, Andy was being such a gentleman. He helped me immediately when he saw me in a heavy wedding dress and held on to me so that I won't fall," she said.
Asked if she is now inspired to have a bridal shoot with director husband Steve Yuen so that she could have a memory of them in wedding attire, Karena said that she has no need for such a thing.
"I am fine, as long as my husband is in my heart. I don't regret it either. I am so used to dressing up in my career, that I just want something ordinary in my real life," she said.
