Kara Hui wins another Best Actress award

4 Dec – 2017 really is the year for Kara Hui, as the actress accepted her seventh award recently, the latest being the 22nd Asian Television Awards.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress recently beat the other nominees for Best Actress in a Leading Role, including Singapore's Felicia China and Zoe Tay, and Malaysia's Louisa Chong to win the said award for her role in RTHK's "Affairs of the Heart".

Speaking to the media about her latest victory, Kara said, "I am very happy. I hope to shoot more movie and television projects that will focus on encouraging more love in the world."

It was just last week that the actress won Best Actress at the Golden Horse Awards for her role in "The Bold, the Corrupt, and the Beautiful".

She also won Best Actress four other times earlier this year for her role as an Alzheimer's patient in "Happiness", including at the Osaka Asian Film Festival and the Macau International Film Festival.
