Kai Ko learns to accept his negative past
9 Sep – Kai Ko recently admitted that he has learned to accept all the negativity and mistakes he has made in the past, and to face his life more positively now and in the future.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor who spoke about his drug arrest in 2014 and its subsequent aftermath to his career, stated that he once thought about giving up as an actor after facing lots of rejection due to his marijuana case.
"But after settling down, I have learned that all experiences - whether it be good or bad - are paths that needed to be taken," he said.
Kai stated that he is thankful that he got the opportunity to try various kinds of film projects since his return - some of them more artistic and posed a bigger challenge to him as an artiste.
The latest of these challenging movies, "A Choo" - co-starring Ariel Lin - is finally releasing in cinemas after twice postponed due to the pandemic.
Speaking about working with Ariel, Kai said that he regarded it as something special.
"She is very talkative, but once she started on the emotional scenes, it was explosive. We shot several heavy scenes together, and I feel very lucky to have met such a good co-star," he said.
