Joey Wong excited for the launch of Tea Daye
29 Jan - Singer Joey Wong (aka JW) is happy to launch a branch of her beverage shop, Tea Daye.
The singer, who spoke to the media at the launch, shared that the first beverage shop was opened in Sheung Wan back in July, and that they decided to open up a second location in Tsim Sha Tsui after the first store finally recovered its capital.
"The goal is to break out of Hong Kong. We have already decided to open one in the United Kingdom, and then to Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines," she said.
JW said that she is very nervous about investing in the F&B industry, though it is a joint-venture with a friend. She also hopes to invest more in the future.
On the other hand, the singer also took to social media to share her thoughts about the new place, saying, "When I was a kid, I wanted to open a coffee shop. It turns out that I was able to do it when I became an adult. I am lucky to meet a great group of partners."
