JJ Lin: I professed my love at Hebe's encouragement!
6 Aug – Singaporean singer, JJ Lin, recently revealed that his declaration of love to S.H.E. member, Hebe Tien, is the scariest moment of his life, but one that he does not regret, due to her subtle encouragement.
According to Xinhua, the singer, who recently braced himself to court the Taiwanese singer at his concert in front of thousands of fans, revealed that he was able to do so only because his guest performer Jolin Tsai and Hebe encouraged him.
"Hebe was sitting there alone since Jolin was still backstage, and I thought that I might as well pass her the soy milk as it would be awkward if I gave it to someone else. I went along with my feelings and didn't think too much," recounted the singer.
Speaking to reporters about the courtship, JJ shared that his declaration of love was actually prompted by Hebe's obscure statement during a celebratory event after a S.H.E's concert.
During the event, Hebe was asked if Ella and Selina's husbands appearances at their concert made her feel lonely. She denied having such thoughts and responded, "JJ Lin is here too!"
JJ stated, "Honestly, I found the courage [to profess my love] after hearing her words. If not, I will never do it."
When asked to recall his feelings on that night, JJ stated that he was actually very embarrassed, as he had never done such a thing before.
"I have never been so scared in my entire life!" he exclaimed.
