Jimin is now Dior's global ambassador

18 Jan - BTS' Jimin has been named the latest global ambassador of French luxury fashion house Dior.

The news was shared by the fashion house itself via social media on 16 January, writing, "The House is thrilled to announce @J.M from #BTS as new Dior global ambassador. Pictured here in a colorful look from #DiorSummer23, the singer is now lending his image to creations from Artistic Director of Dior men's collections, @MrKimJones."

"In his role as new global ambassador, [Jimin] exemplifies the timeless spirit and singularity of Dior with this exciting partnership. As he continues a bond created in 2019 with @MrKimJones, who designed #BTS stage looks, the singer solidifies his friendship with the House more than ever."

It was just last week that the singer was featured in BIGBANG's Taeyang new single, "VIBE". Jimin is also set to release his solo album next month.

KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters) -A Malaysian court dismissed jailed former Prime Minister Najib Razak's legal bid to obtain a document that he said would allow him to serve his remaining prison sentence under house arrest. In a judicial review application filed on April 1, Najib said an "addendum order" issued by the former king had accompanied a pardons board's decision in February to halve his 12-year jail sentence for graft in the multibillion-dollar 1MDB scandal. Najib had sought for the court to compel the government to reply to or confirm the existence of the royal order, which he said would entitle him to serve the remainder of his term under house arrest, and to execute the order if it existed.
