Jessica Hsuan says she had a COVID-19 scare
6 Apr – Despite her frequent coughing, Jessica Hsuan assured that she doesn't have COVID-19.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress who was spotted alongside co-star Benz Hui recently to film their series "Armed Reaction 2020", shared that she actually started coughing ten days ago.
"It didn't lessen despite me taking cough medicines. I was worried that I could have been infected with the coronavirus so I went to the doctor," she said.
However, upon consultation, Jessica was told that there was no need for her to do the test since she didn't show any symptoms of COVID-19.
"The most important thing was I had no fever, bone pain, or breathing difficulties, so he just prescribed antibiotics for me. But even after taking the medicine, I still feel weak, so I went again and the doctor finally gave me the test," she said.
Fortunately, Jessica was tested negative for the coronavirus.
The actress added that she does not regret taking the tests as it is important to make sure that she is healthy and does not infect everybody else, especially since her acting job entails her to be in contact with a lot of people on set.
"There was no danger of the coronavirus, but I still took a nine day rest before going back to work. I am still not fully recovered, and have to take medicine," she said.
