For Jenny and Dave Marrs’s latest project, the HGTV duo built the ultimate room for feline fans: a catio, aka a patio for cats. Jenny shared a preview clip of the space—complete with “cat condos” and “catscrapers”—via Instagram ahead of the full reveal on tonight’s episode of Fixer to Fabulous. It’s safe to say that viewers are as enamored with the concept as the home reno experts.

It turns out, Jenny and Dave didn’t actually know what a catio was until their clients asked them for one. But once they were clued in, they were immediately on board. “This is the most brilliant use of space for a cat-lover and cat-foster mom parent,” Jenny wrote in the Instagram caption.

In its most basic form, a catio can simply be an outdoor enclosure fenced in with chicken wire or a small mesh screen. The one Jenny and Dave built is far more luxurious. The addition includes sizable windows for letting in natural light and fresh air along with built-ins for the cats to climb and lay on. A combination of light wood and olive green paint solidifies the calming atmosphere. And for the humans, there’s some bench seating for hanging out in good company.

“This is the most deluxe version of a catio I've ever seen,” one person commented. “(My cats will never see this because they may begin to make demands).”

Others remarked that “everyone should have a catio” and that their cats need one because they would “be in heaven.”

Jenny also revealed she and Dave ended up adopting one of their client’s foster kittens who they built the catio for. She shared photos of the kitten along with the project preview clip. “When Holly texted me about how much her new foster kittens liked the space, I couldn’t get past how adorable itty bitty Lloyd was,” she wrote the caption. “We adopted our sweet boy not long after.”
