Jennifer Yu is now a mum
24 May – Jennifer Yu recently announced that she has given birth to her first child, a daughter that she has named Clare.
On 23 May, the Hong Kong actress posted a photo of the baby's tiny hands, revealing that she gave birth via C-section and that her daughter was born weighing 6.5 lbs.
"My baby, as long as you are healthy and happy, mummy is satisfied. Nothing in this world is more important than you. I love you," she added.
Speaking to the media following the announcement, Jennifer admitted that she was worried at first about her baby's weight, as her last check-up revealed that her child was underweight.
"But when she was born more than six pounds, I was so happy. She is just like her father, with pretty eyebrows," she enthused.
Jennifer tied the knot with her non-showbiz partner Tim Luk in November last year after surprising many by announcing her engagement. While she was rumoured to be pregnant prior to the marriage, she only announced the pregnancy on Christmas Day.
Prior to Tim, Jennifer was in a long-term relationship with actor Carlos Chan.
