The wedding bells rang once again for Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, who just celebrated their matrimony with a romantic three-day celebration at Affleck's waterside Georgia estate.

Lopez went for glamour for the couple's first Las Vegas nuptials in July, but this time around, the wedding gowns and beauty look had a more classic, almost regal feel to them (while still keeping it ultra-glitzy; this is J.Lo after all).

The star's trusty glam team came together to create multiple looks complementing her three custom-made Ralph Lauren Collection gowns. Hairstylist Chris Appleton kept the hair sleek and off the face to make way for a ruffled, high neckline.

The make-up, meanwhile, created by Mary Phillips, had all the hallmarks of a '90s glamazon. Phillips went with a smoky, cut-crease eyeshadow look complete with voluminous lashes, plenty of contouring and a well-defined, neutral lip. For her manicure, nail artist Tom Bachik gave Lopez a clean, white polish to not distract from her jewellery.

For the reception and after-party, Appleton created an intricate up-do; perfect for dancing the evening away in. The elegant style is a bridal classic, and is especially perfect for summer weddings to keep the bride looking polished and cool throughout the warmer weather. It's a beautiful way to accentuate higher necklines, too.

The last dress of the evening featured a keyhole design with a detachable organza cape – a dreamy, fairytale touch for a fairytale wedding.

Back in July, Lopez and Affleck officially tied the knot in a low-key ceremony in Las Vegas, a year after announcing their engagement for the second time. Lopez shared in her fan newsletter: "We flew to Vegas, stood in line for a license with four other couples, all making the same journey to the wedding capital of the world."

The pop icon and star of rom-com Marry Me is known for her signature beauty look of healthy, bronzed skin, voluminous hair and brown smoky eye make-up, so it made perfect sense that her wedding glam was exactly all of that, only with extra polish.

Longtime hairstylist Appleton was again on hair duty for her big day. "Out of all the events and crazy glams we have had, this definitely was the most special," wrote Appleton on Instagram. He's responsible for convincing the singer to try new styles – from a sleek blow-out to a pixie crop – but for the wedding, the vibe was pure J-Lo, with a half-up-half-down 'do complete with full, bouncy, loose curls along the bottom.

The look perfectly complemented the minimalist vibe of the wedding dress, a white sleeveless number with a cinched waist. In a second look, Appleton added a classic veil to pair with a Zuhair Murad ivory lacy dress with a sweetheart neckline.

As for make-up, Lopez's gleaming complexion served as a backdrop to her signature brown smoky eyes and nude lips. She's no stranger to a healthy dose of contouring and highlighting on stage, but here, we love how she kept the look softer with just a hint of blush to maintain the skin's freshness. Of course, no J-Lo look is complete without a pop of neutral gloss on the lips.

Ultimately, the only wedding beauty rule that matters is that a bride does what feels most comfortable and beautiful to her; whether that's a red lip, an almost-bare face or plenty of shimmer. Lopez's look stayed true to her style, and we couldn't love her more for it.
